Wow, how does it keep its head?!
Is the head a motorized ballast whose balance moves the ball?

The large ball has a set of gyroscopes inside that it uses for motion control.
(The smaller versions of the bot use heavy ballast in the ball, but they are not nearly as stable and precise in their motions.)

The head unit is not physically attached, it is on free moving rollers on the outside of the ball, and held in place with a set of magnets on the inside of the ball. That is how the head can appear to look down, without the ball rolling.

OIC... magnets. I was over-designing it in my head, imagining the "head" is like a circus performer walking on a ball
