Notes about upcoming releases at at the end of each release notes forum post.

Release/Change Notes for World of RoboFarmCraft v1.8(7142): "More circuitry & automation."

    * Submitted to QA: Feb 2, 2016
    * Submitted to Apple for review: Feb 2(b), 2016
    * Available in the App Store: Feb 5, 2016

"Big News" items

    * New Chest-O-Matic-Remote! Like the CoM, but works with a remote-chest, via signals.
    * Farm-grid location is available on the robot's movement sensor.
    * 16 pin chips!
    * Robot bumpers can differentiate "feels" (includes to the side) from "impacted" (only run-into).
    * Chests can display contents, helping keep things organized.
    * The "keep display alive" setting now works properly.
    * Early-on missions clarified and improved.
    * Several UI improvements, bug fixes and general niceties. :)

Code changes:

    * bump vsn to v1.8 for development (this time, for real! :)
    * bugzid: 1484 add remote-CoM
    * bugzid: 1635 add data-based tool sounds
    * bugzid: 1634 two robots can work the same spot
    * update reward/achievement payout to update inventory
    * bugzid: 1636 solder pen now respects 'safe' time
    * bugzid: 1542 add bogged down sound and sparks for power tool on wrong item
    * fix 'keep display alive' logic to use per-farm settings
    * implement 16-pin (4-sided) chips
    * bugzid: 1091 numeric signal allowed for crafting
    * bugzid: 1640 Crafting UI accepts a 'use this inventory instead' signal
    * add chest display-contents button
    * bugzid: 1206 farm-grid location as sensor output in robot
    * Fixed so robot battery connections are added with group, so things won't get rewired when new pins are added
    * No tips on demo farm.
    * robot select mission: don't give completion text until they push a button
    * bugzid: 1661 change solder-tip color when setting wire color
    * Robo-bumpers now differentiate 'impacted' items from 'bumped' ('felt')
    * bugzid: 1284 add impact signal to bumpers
    * bugzid: 1662 PERF: dropping a stack of items (from chest) takes a really long time
    * bugzid: 1663 CoM-Remote fix
    * bugzid: 1668 display optimizations in play
    * bugzid: 1670 chest display gets confused with < 5 items
    * bugzid: 1660 when chip outside pin goes cold, not propagated to inside
    * bugzid: 1671 impact-only fixes
    * more error checking in insertObject:atIndex:

Content changes:

    * add CoM-remote image and update help
    * add wrong-powersaw/stripper sounds; update attribution
    * bugzid: 1635 add wrong-powersaw/stripper sound to tools
    * bugzid: 1542 add wrong-powersaw sound
    * add 16-pin chip images/templates/crafting
    * update crafting help to describe new craft-item pin signals
    * fix 61+ days array-closure
    * bugzid: 1647 chainsaws are seed-negative
    * bugzid: 1656 reverse direction of solder in nodes/power mission (new pix)
    * bugzid: 1657 turn off small-help in start farm
    * bugzid: 1658 help buttons mission turn on help
    * improvements, simplifications, clarifications, hints added to early missions
    * optimization payout updates

Server changes:

    * (No changes)

On The List!

NOTE: "The List" changes to try to keep up with user feedback; your feedback matters! Everything that we've previously talked about is still "on the list", but "early user experience", "social features" and "less obstreperous game-play/UI" are being prioritized, as I think those items are most-critical.

Plans for upcoming releases as of Feb 2, 2016:

v1.9: Misc, wish-list, catchup & overflow from items that were intended for earlier builds but slipped.

v1.10: Guilds (phase 1).

v1.11: VIP levels.

v1.12: Misc/Wishlist.

v1.13: Guilds (phase 2).

v1.14: Focus on "first 10 minutes" user experience.

"Eventually" ("Soon!"??): WoRFC on Apple-TV.

vFuture: 100s of great ideas that I need to sort into planned releases and then release them.
